Art-In-The-Downtown
The Downtown Development Authority, (DDA),
sponsor of the, "Art-In-The-Downtown" Sculpture Exhibition has
selected sixteen internationally recognized artists to exhibit their
sculptures in downtown Fort Lauderdale from 2005 - 2006.
Selected artists and galleries lend sculptures to the DDA for
placement in Downtown Fort lauderdale in the Arts and Science District
in front of the Museum of Art, Museum of Discovery and Science, the
Performing Arts Center and The Broward County Court House. A full
color catalog of the sculpture exhibition is available listing all the
artworks for sale.
Sponsorship of individual artists and their sculptures with name
plaque recognition is available to Museums, Galleries and other
corporations or individual collectors who would like to make a
financial commitment to the Sculpture Exhibition. The DDA is a non
profit 501 C-3 corporation and all contributions are tax deductible to
the IRS pursuant to Florida Statutes.
