Huizenga Plaza is a 1.8 acre park in the heart of downtown with a 150-seat amphitheater. It is on the southeast corner of Las Olas and Andrews Avenue.

The Spirit of Fort Lauderdale Fountain at Huizenga Plaza
Interactive Park:
Come check out our interactive fountain that mimicks the dynamics of the music. When music is not playing, you can put your hand on top of the sensors around the fountain and the water will mimick your movements. In addition, in collaboration with Broward County Cultural Division, an interactive lighting feature was installed. This feature is active during certain hours of the evening and includes tree uplighting, medallion zones that trigger preprogrammeand lighting sequences, and an interactive laser that projects patterns onto the lawn. MAROONE MOONLIGHT MOVIES
Enjoy movies under the stars every fourth Saturday of the month at 8:00 p.m. Outdoor films play at Huizenga Plaza. Admission is free! Bring your own blanket and chairs. Buy snacks and drinks from a selected charity each month.
