Fort Lauderdale is channeling its maritime roots into a modern metropolitan economy, a thriving urban coastal hub whose world-renowned water-driven lifestyle continues to attract global talent and forward-thinking companies.
Last week, Hines and Urban Street Development topped off the T3 FAT Village office building, part of their 3.5-acre mixed-use campus, signaling a new chapter for Downtown Fort Lauderdale’s evolution as a leading business destination, as highlighted by The New York Post.

Described in the Post by Alan Hooper, CEO and co-founder of Urban Street Development, as “looking like a Google or Apple campus,” the six-story, 180,000-square-foot timber structure will anchor the heart of the Flagler Village neighborhood.
The Post writes that “civic and business leaders hope it will ignite a new wave of office development and demonstrate Fort Lauderdale’s ability to attract high-profile tech and corporate tenants.” New to market players can join a diverse mix of existing companies with headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, including J.P. Morgan Private Bank, GQG Partners, Raymond James, BBX Capital, AutoNation, RSM, Stiles, West Marine, and FutureTech, to name a few.

When T3 FAT Village opens next year, it will become part of an emerging creative ecosystem in Fort Lauderdale. Napster Corporation (formerly Infinite Reality) is also launching its 60-acre headquarters here, merging technology and immersive entertainment in a way that further cements Fort Lauderdale’s rising reputation as a center for next-gen industries.
Fort Lauderdale is evolving into a vibrant nexus of innovation and lifestyle. Together, projects like T3 FAT Village and Napster Studios represent a powerful convergence of vision, investment, and opportunity. These two projects are fueling both the city’s talent base and its economic momentum and setting the stage for an era where commerce and creativity converge in Fort Lauderdale.
